South Eugene's Madi Zemper-Prill won the girls freshman 3,000 meters race in 10:37.7, and by a margin of 20 seconds, at the Wilsonville Night Meet on Friday.
Ana Peters from Lake Oswego turned in the fastest race of the night for the girls at the Wilsonville Night Meet, running 10:26.3, edging South Eugene's Ansley Johnston by less than a second.
Wes Shipsey from Central Catholic began his senior season of cross country by winning the senior class race in 8:45.92 on Friday at the Wilsonville Night Meet.
